Quazy for Quisp.

If you’re old enough to remember when Saturday morning cartoons were an important weekly event, you probably remember Quisp.  Produced by the Quaker Oats Company, it was a crunchy cereal, similar in taste to Cap’n Crunch, that featured a pink Martian on its box named, well, Quisp.  If you’re a big fan of the pink guy, head on over to Quisp.com to see if the cereal is currently being sold near you.  If not, you can print out a form letter on the website and give it to your local grocer to encourage the stocking of the out-of-this-world cereal.

  1. Quisp was a high-quality, mega-sugary cereal and a staple of my childhood. What could be better than a fine Staurday Morning in 1974, watching Hong Kong Phooey and pigging out on a delicious bowl of Quisp. Do I remember correctly that the competing cereal was Quake, with some big giant guy?
